Last weekend we had the great privilege of Chow Bella, the Phoenix New Times food blog,
join us at the Boho Farm to do a video blog on making adult applesauce
from all those apples you've harvested.
If you are think we are in the middle of a kitchen remodel, you are right,
but that is where our open, all are welcome Bohemian lifestyle/home comes in handy.
We love living life in the middle of things!
We had so much fun and are just thrilled that the sustainable home arts are being revived.
This is our passion and joy!
Here is the story and blog:
Here are some pictures our daughter took of that day!
How about that floor?!
See, we are in the middle of a remodel.
If you like this apron it is made by Hot Chicks Aprons and you can get
one at Jam in Old Town Scottsdale, too.
This is my Laura Petrie pose...you know...from Dick Van Dyke.
Feeding the apples to the chickens, then composting.
Our range finally showed up yesterday! So I will give a progress report soon.
yay @ video blog...Love all the photos...bigger YAY @ Range FINALLY arriving.

That is the neatest kitchen remodel I've ever seen! I'm addicted to food blogs so I'll have a look since we need to harvest apples too.
ReplyDeleteI love BoHo Farms! You look great in teh apron by the way I love polka dots!

What a great post, the photos are wonderful. Naturally you look way to cute to be in the kitchen. I know you are excited about your kitchen, can't wait to see photos when complete. What you showed looked great.

OH wow! I had to giggle... You looks absolutely adorable in your apron and dress and hair all done up! Love that little foot lift pose...{wink}!
ReplyDeleteAs for the remodel? Puh-lease!
I'm NOT remodeling and the days that I'm putting up applesauce or plum jelly-- THAT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE A REMODEL--all by itself!
Love your kitchen, can't wait to see the range and the video.
...am off to view the link, Pat
That apron is to die for! You looked adorable in your polka dot apron and matching flats! So sweet.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Looking forward to the complete home kitchen makevoer!
I love your blog. But, I think you meant "Laura" Petrie (not Jan) from the Dick Van Dyke show. Also, I have been to JAM and love it there. Great "local" place to shop!
ReplyDeleteI am also involved with the AZ Farmers Markets Association and hope to meet you soon at a class or farm tour!
Best, Denise
You are gorgeous. Wish I was rich beyond my dreams - I'd chose you to style me and The Larches.... sigh..
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I LOVE the Laura Petrie pic! Mmm, mmm, mmm! Loved "some" nutmeg on the mic and your red apron and pearls. I bet the kitchen was filled with heavenly smells. Couldn't help grinning from ear to ear!
ReplyDeleteLovely Fun! I especially like your Laura Petrie pose! You are too funny. BTW~ I am a huge Dick Van Dyke show fan. Actually, anything with Mary Tyler Moore. I wore many of "Laura" dresses during my 30s & 40s. They are so flattering & timeless.
