September has been a busy month here at the Boho farm. Our son turned 4, we started prepping our
beds for fall, we are still working on the kitchen remodel and then every member
of the house has gotten sick in the past three weeks!
Because of all these convergence of events, we have decide to move our
Farmers/Flea Market from November 5 to Saturday, March 24, from 8am to 1pm.
Farmers/Flea Market from November 5 to Saturday, March 24, from 8am to 1pm.
We are sorry to do this but we hope you understand and will be able to join us this spring.
I wanted to share with you our little man's fourth Birthday party and thank
all our friends, family and local community for all they did to
make it such a special day!
Boo loves firemen and hot dogs and that is what he wanted
for his Birthday: A Fireman Hot dog Party.
This was on the front door welcoming guest
It was designed by T-Bone Squid.
All the kids got customized fire hats from the Van Slyke Fire Station.
We had our friends from Short Leash Dog, set up shop in our driveway! We LOVE them!
The food truck idea was the best...once they drive away, the mess and clean up goes too.
No cooking the day before and cleaning up the day after. It was the most stress free party ever.
I want a food truck now for every party!
Everyone ordered what they wanted off the menu...

corn dogs
gourmet hot dogs and fries

and more corn dogs!
We had lots of drinks that day since it was 108 degrees!
Old fashion sodas and root beers in those cute glass bottles. Don't worry
there is no high fructose corn syrup in these soda pops...only cane sugar.
Refreshing!
The little man drinking root beer, a treat in our family, since we don't drink soda.
A fire truck pinata...
We have pinatas at all our children's birthday parties. We want our kids to connect to and celebrate the
rich Mexican culture of my Mother in Law.
This custom shirt with the number four on front and Boo's name on the back
is from Miss Shauna at JAM in Old Town Scottsdale.
This kids picking up their loot after the pinata finally breaks.
The cake made by Mama, the topper and flags by T-Bone Squid
Sweet Boy blowing out his candles
And every guest took home one of these as their favors. (T-Bone Squid again)
Featuring Boo's best friend our Scottish Terrier that Boo wistfully calls "Jacky Boy".
A wonderful day was had by all!
Happy Weekend to you!
What a great birthday party! Wonderful idea about the food!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you realized but you have the date for your Fall Farmers/Flea Market as March 24th.

That looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughter always has a pinata as well --for the same reason, her Abuelita's influence! Besides they are fun. The food truck is interesting. What a concept, really.
The cake and decorations were 'on fire!"

I keep trying to leave comments and I get so far and my computer goes crazy so if you get two partial comments, just delete them! I was trying to say.....
ReplyDeleteHappy Brithday Boo!
and
I hope you are feeling better. We had the colds at our house and it just seems that they drag on forever.
and
I've read about those food trucks and how they are "the thing" now. We went to a Historic HOme tour the other day and a pizza truck pulled up and people flocked to it like crazy!
