Interior Vignettes/Giveaway Ends Today

Karina of Capturing Delight Photography came over the other day and took these
vignettes of Boho Farm.  I just love to see the world through the lens of
my dear friend and thought I would share them with you.

This is a picture painted by my daughter, one of many that I have throughout the house,
and the invite for my 40th~We had a White Birthday Soiree.  You can read about it here,
on my sister in law's blog.

My new favorite find "En Ville" French flashcard from Sweet Salvage.
And my FAVORITE cookbook, by my jam mentor Rachel Saunders.

One of my favorite quotes by Jim Elliot over our dining table,
“He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain that which he cannot lose.”

The new green in our kitchen nook...a kitchen update is to come.

My girlfriend and I painted these chickens nine years ago.
I did the ones on the left and she did the ones on the right and then we went over
each others work to make it blend.  This took us about 2 hours but
when I get the new counter tops this art is going away...I am sad but also ready for a change.
The little "Merci" banner is from The Willows.

Here is a little nook in our family room where we keep our
coats, umbrellas and irrigation boots.

Don't forget our Ramsign giveaway ends TONIGHT, September 18 at midnight.
These are the enamel signs you see all over Europe--
come win one for yourself!

And our Planting A Garden: The Basics Class on Saturday, Sept. 24
from 10-11:30am.  Register HERE.  We only have a few spots left!

Happy Weekend!

  1. I'm shedding a tear for those chickens:( I've been jealous of those since the first day you painted them! But if getting rid of them means a new kitchen? Umm Buh Bye!!!!

  2. Ok first of all GREEN is my favorite color. That green in your dining nook and in the entry...oh gosh! I'm in love. I DON'T DECORATE WITH GREEN. Why? I don't know! I usually paint my toenails citron or carry a purse that is LIME, or grab the olive green T-shirt off the rack! ...just haven't put green in the house.
Well, there was that first sponge paint job I did years ago in the living room. But it's been covered up with white now.

Now... for those chickens... I'm gonna cry. I'm saving this picture and I'm going to commission (or beg, whichever works) my daughter to paint me some in my kitchen! I love those there!
    I know you'll miss them.

    ...have a great week. Pat

  3. That is a beautiful green color!! I just painted a small table in our hall a brightish green color. (haven't shared yet) Those chickens are adorable! I can't wait to see your reveal!

  4. Love the vignettes and the green color. And what talented people in your house! Such nice paintings. Can't wait to see your kitchen reveal.

  5. Beautiful photos! Too bad the chickens will have to go, but I'm sure you enjoyed them!

  6. Caroline, your buddy did an amazing job taking photos around Boho Farm. Thanks for sharing them with us!

  7. Your daughter is so talented she obviously gets it from Mom. Sorry about your chickens but we all have to move on sometimes. Love the photos from your home and your friend did a wonderful job capturing it.

  8. Loved the little glimpses into your home! Oh those chickens are so cute. So sad they have to go but I understand how it is when you need a change.

Thank you so much for your sweet comments!
